Our Strategic Plan 2026–2028
A clear, time-bound commitment to building global infrastructure for performing arts health and wellness
Our Vision
Building the Global Infrastructure for Performing Arts Health
SUSTAIN.ART is a new organization. We don't have years of impact data to report, and we think it would be misleading to pretend otherwise.
What we can offer is a clear, time-bound set of goals and a public commitment to reporting our progress every year. This strategic plan outlines how we will build the global network that performing artists deserve.
We are accountable to the artists we serve, the specialists who join us, and the donors who make this work possible.
Our Four Strategic Goals
Build the Network
Establish a global directory of vetted performing arts medicine specialists, psychologists, and somatic educators. Prioritize underserved regions where access to specialized care is most limited.
By 2028 Target:
500 vetted practitioners
across 50 countries
Educate at Scale
Develop and distribute HEAL Initiatives (Holistic Education for Artistic Longevity) resources — evidence-based guides on injury prevention, performance anxiety, somatic education, and sustainable practice. Make these resources freely accessible to all artists.
By 2028 Target:
50,000 artists reached
through resources and webinars
Fund Access
Establish and grow the Access Equity and Bursary Fund to subsidize specialized care for artists in underserved regions. Remove financial barriers to health and wellness.
By 2028 Target:
500 artists supported
with subsidized specialized care
Advocate for Change
Publish annual State of Global Arts Health reports to document the crisis, track progress, and advocate for systemic change in performing arts education and healthcare infrastructure.
By 2028 Target:
3 annual reports published
documenting global arts health landscape
